SEAN Goss, agent sbobet the former Manchester United starlet who has been on loan at Rangers, believes appointing Steven Gerrard manager will enable the Ibrox club to attract a high calibre of player from England.

Goss, who came off the bench to set up David Bates for his later winner in the Ladbrokes Premiership match against Kilmarnock in Govan on Saturday, looks set to go back to his parent club Queens Park Rangers in the summer.

Ian Holloway, the QPR manager, stressed back in March that he expected the midfielder to return to Loftus Road at the end of the 2017/18 campaign and play for his side again next term. However, the 22-year-old, who started his career at Old Trafford, is confident Rangers will be able to entice talented footballers from down south to play for them this summer after bringing in Gerrard.

The England and Liverpool great stunned British football last week when he signed a four-year deal with the Ladbrokes Premiership club and he will start his new role on June 1.

“The prospect of Steven Gerrard being here is massive,” he said. “He was an amazing player and someone I looked up to. His experiences can only help us.

“All you have to do is look at his career. He will be able to back that up with his experiences and help the players on the park week in, week out. The reaction all over the country to him being announced is huge. It is great for the club to get someone like that in.

“Everyone is going to be interested in playing for him. I think playing under him would excite anyone. I definitely think there will be plenty interest from players down south.”

Goss became a regular starter in the Rangers team under former manager Graeme Murty after arriving in Glasgow in January, but he dropped out of the side after the 1-0 defeat to Kilmarnock at Ibrox in March.

He admitted he had been disappointed not to be involved in the two meetings with Celtic last month and is hopeful he gets the chance to finish his time in Scotland strongly under caretaker manager Jimmy Nicholl.

Rangers can finish runners-up in the top flight if they defeat second-placed Aberdeen, who are one point ahead of them, at Pittodrie tomorrow night and then Hibernian at Easter Road in their final league game on Sunday.

Goss has put any thoughts about his own future out of his mind until after agent sbobet the final game of the season.

“I will think about that when the times comes,” he said. “I just want to try and get back into the team for the games on Tuesday and Sunday. They are two tough games. After that I will see what situation I am in.

“I am just concentrating on playing football and see what happens at the end of the season. I still have time left on my QPR contract after this summer.

“I have loved my time up here. That’s why I have been so gutted about being out of the team. I want to enjoy the last week and hopefully play in both games. agent sbobet I want to get us where we want to be.”
